If you are curious, the Immortals detailed in WotI which are missing here are.ġ) Immortals from the Sphere of Entropy, who, of course, would not be found in the Upper Planes.ģ) Karaash, despite being a 5th level Initiate Immortal of the Sphere of Thought in Mystara, he is Ilneval in 2E and thus on the Lower Planes.Ĥ) Korotiku, who was no doubt accidentally overlooked. Carl Sargent mentioned Thoth as a Mystaran Immortal in Night Below, most likely because of the past Nithian Empire and the nation of Thothia on the Isle of Dawn. There is no connection between the Radiance on Mystara and the Elemental Radiance plane of Planescape, other than Chris making the suggestion in this book. According to PC1 Tall Tales of the Wee Folk, they are fairy folk, specifically sidhe, who can be warriors or rogues. Oberon and Titania are neither deities nor Immortals in Mystara. In the cases of the Norse pantheon and Garl Glittergold, they were featured in the 1E Deities & Demigods before being brought into Mystara as Immortals. Bast only joined the Immortal cast as Bast-eh with Dragon Magazine #247. Her name is misspelled Aphatia in this book. Al-Kalim might be residing in Ylaruam in some mortal identity in the present as part of the Dynast path. If the Immortal had a full stat block in WotI, then their Immortal level, which goes from 1 to 36, is noted with the number in parenthesis. This new column lists the Immortal's relative rank and sphere as specified in WotI. The table is reproduced below, with an additional column, Immortal Status. Some Mystaran Immortals were included in the list, Chris built the Mystara entries using the list of Immortals with full writeups and game stats found in Wrath of the Immortals. The only information related to Mystara is a massive six page table in the back of the book which attempted to comprehensively list the Powers(still the 2E name for deities) of the Upper Planes for all the settings. This book is a 2E player guide for creating celestial PCs, and a bit of a DM guide to start fleshing out a campaign set in the Upper Planes for those celestial PCs. So it was released as a general D&D book, more details on this subject can be found in this Chris Perkins interview. This product written by Chris Perkins would have been a Planescape book, but by this time WotC/TSR was coming to the conclusion that the campaign settings were fracturing their audience and lowering unit sales.
